After the sold-out concert at the Odeon of Herodes Atticus, in September 2021, the two great Greek artists, Marinella and Marios Frangoulis, reunite their voices for a charitable purpose in the context of the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Sacred Archdiocese of Thyateira and Great Britain.
Marinella and Marios Frangoulis, with their unsurpassed performance, will enchant the audience on July 19th at the Ancient Theatre of Philippi in Kavala, setting another milestone for Thyateira Union that meets its history in Philippi. The area that continues to be a symbol of the power of the ancient Greek world as the birthplace of the first Christian community in Europe and the starting point for the spread of Christianity throughout the world!
An artistic meeting that will remain unforgettable to those who will have the opportunity to attend it as part of the parallel events of the Philippi Festival, this summer.
We invite you all to feel together with the unique Marinella and Mario Frangoulis, the pulse of Greece with timeless songs that were loved and remained as a cultural legacy in the music scene of our land, so that they travel again around the world and reflect our pulse in all the lengths and breadths of the earth, where there are Greeks!

"Thyateira Union" is a charitable, cultural and social organization with multidimensional action that supports the humanitarian work of His Eminence the Archbishop of Thyateira and Great Britain, Exarch of Western Europe and Ireland, Mr. Nikitas and aspires to function as a connecting link of all Greeks in the Diaspora with the Motherland.
Being aware of the great challenges that the modern world is facing, Thyateira Union collaborates with Greek communities around the world for the implementation of a series of initiatives of cultural, educational and social nature. The aim of these actions is to build networks of solidarity and cooperation that focus on people and are driven by the universal cultural values of Hellenism. Its main goals are the promotion of Hellenism and the continuous promotion of Greece on the world map of culture.
Supporters of the event will be the Chamber of Kavala, the Federation of Professional Craftsmen of the Prefecture of Kavala, the Kavala Municipal & Regional Theatre and the Association of Commerce of Philippi.
Part of the proceeds of the concert will be donated by the Thyateira Union to support its humanitarian work which for 2022 focuses on supporting the National Health System.
The concert is under the auspices of the General Secretariat of Hellenes Abroad and Public Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, under the auspices of the Municipality of Kavala and under the auspices of the Municipality of Drama.
